Accommodation and Summit VenueThe Pan Pacific Orchard is the official venue for Day One of the EdTech Asia Summit 2025. Recently completed in 2023, this five-star property stands out as one of Singapore’s newest and most architecturally distinctive hotels. Located in the Orchard Road district, it offers convenient access to the city’s central business, retail, and cultural areas. Kindly note that there are two Pan Pacific hotels in Singapore. If you choose to stay at the summit venue, please ensure you are booking Pan Pacific Orchard, and not the other location, Pan Pacific Singapore (Raffles Boulevard). Visa and Entry RequirementsBefore traveling to Singapore, please ensure you meet the entry and visa requirements based on your nationality. Most visitors from ASEAN, the EU, the UK, the US, and several other countries do not require a visa for short stays. From the airport to the city center and summit venues, several transport options are available:Taxis are available 24/7 at all airport terminals. The ride to central Singapore typically takes 20 to 30 minutes, with fares ranging from SGD 20 to SGD 40, depending on time of day and traffic. Surcharges may apply for airport pick-ups, peak hours, and late-night travel.The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) connects Changi Airport via the East West Line. Trains run every 5 to 7 minutes and take about 30 minutes to reach downtown. Fares range from SGD 1.50 to SGD 2.50. The airport MRT stations are located in Terminals 2 and 3.Airport Shuttle Services provide shared rides to major hotels across the city at approximately SGD 10 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the Ground Transport Desks in the airport Arrival Halls.Public Transportation in SingaporeSingapore’s public transport system is clean, reliable, and easy to navigate. The MRT operates from 5:30 AM to around midnight and connects key attractions, business districts, and neighborhoods across the island. English signage is present at all stations. For convenience, travelers may purchase an EZ-Link stored-value card for SGD 12 (with SGD 7 usable value) at MRT stations, convenience stores, or bus interchanges. This card allows for contactless travel across MRT trains and public buses.Taxi and Ride-Hailing OptionsMetered taxis are readily available throughout Singapore. They can be hailed on the street, at taxi stands, or booked via phone or mobile apps. Common providers include ComfortDelGro, CityCab, and SMRT Taxis. While credit card payment is typically accepted, it is advisable to confirm with the driver before the ride begins.Grab is the most widely used ride-hailing app in Singapore. Online and Offline Event and Ticket ProvisionsThe online ticket purchase of any event, including EdTech Asia Summit, EdTech MENA Forum, and EduCapital Forum, workshop, delegation or other related activity is restricted to the following terms and conditions. Tickets that are issued for sale by EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. are non-refundable or exchangable. All purchases of tickets for events by EdTech Group (including any goods or services packaged together with tickets) are non-refundable, including tickets that are lost or stolen. Upon our own consideration and approval we may consider extending ticket validity for ticket holders who cannot physically attend for reasons including injury or health related issues. If the ticket holder is unable to physically attend we may be able to transfer the ticket to the following year's summit if such request is made at least 7 days in advance of the initially ticketed event. The possession of one valid ticket entitles the designated holder to summit access and entry only, it may not be used by other individuals.EdTech Group Pte. Ltd. tickets do not include transportation, visa or lodging services. You hereby acknowledge that the purchase of a ticket to an event does not include services for, nor the reimbursement of costs for: (a) transportation to or from the event, or between event venues; (b) obtaining visas or appropriate immigration status in order to attend the event; or (c) food and accommodation while attending the event.
